What are GICs?

Game Improvement Clinics to begin at Corica Park

The Golden Gayt Golf Club is introducing Game Improvement Clinics to help our members elevate their golfing prowess. Whether you are trying to break par or 110, these clinics will be able to help you sharpen your skills on the course.

This will be a series of lessons with one pro at a golf course in the area. Members and guests will be able to sign up for individual clinics or pay a discounted rate to sign up for the entire clinic series. The ultimate goal is to be able to hold these clinics each year in the three counties where GGG has the strongest membership - San Francisco, Alameda, and Santa Clara.

Corica Park will host the first of GGG's Game Improvement Clinics (GICs) in Alameda. Players of all abilities are encouraged to participate in as many clinics as they can.

GICs will take place on Sundays at 1 p.m. on the following dates:

• July 21 - Putting

• Aug 4 - Chipping and Pitching

• Sep 8 - Ironplay

• Sep 22 - Driver Accuracy

There are 15 spots available. Registration priority will be given to players who can sign up and commit to all four lessons. Members who register for less than four clinics will be placed on a waitlist and have the opportunity to participate if there are any openings.

The clinics will cost $120 for 4 lessons or $35 per lesson when not purchasing the entire series. Once registration is finalized, you'll be sent details to make your payment directly to Corica Park.
